Plasma Pistol vs M6C

They are both pretty good. But they both have different uses. About the only time a plasma pistol is good is overcharging it to take down a shield. The M6C however is a good gun to use to get a kill after the shield is down. Might I suggest dual wielding with both the Plasma Pistol and the M6C for a quick kill.
The plasma pistol is what is needed to take down shields then switch to your battle rifle to take them out.

Halo Battle Rifle

The Battle rifle. Designed to be a mixture of the assualt rifle and pistol.
This rifle works great from a hidden position to pick off Grunts.

Halo Grunts

Approximately 5' tall and relatively weak, Grunts tend to travel in packs and stick close to more powerful allies. Individually they are easy to defeat, but in groups they can overwhelm careless Marines. Their armor seems to house some sort of life-support mechanism. They are known to use a variety of weapons including the plasma pistol, plasma rifle and plasma grenades.

Halo 2 jackals & Hunters

·Jackals: Aim for the small notch on the sides of their shields to
knock them off-balance, then follow up with a few body shots until
they go down. (The pistol works perfectly for this.) Otherwise use
the same strategy we talked about for the Elite’s shields.

·Hunters: These guys seem tough, but one well-placed pistol shot in
the back will take them down. (Aim for the brownish patch of
skin). If you can’t get behind them, try this: “circle strafe”
close to them, moving around them but always looking at the
Hunter. It will circle also, in some strange sort of polka dance
or mating ritual. Spoil the mood by shooting the Hunter in the
head until it falls or charges at you.

Halo 2 Marines

:Your Marines may seem like more of an annoyance than a help (especially on Legendary difficulty), but trust us, they come in handy. Attack the same enemies they do instead of choosing your own targets for quicker kills and to increase the odds of your Marines surviving the fight. If you have a Marine gunner in your Warthog, park it in a defensive position close to the enemy and get out on foot. While your buddy blasts'em with the chaingun, sneak around the side and flank your enemies. Marine has a sniper rifle and you need ammo? Pop yem in the head and take his.

Doom vs Halo

Something has gone wrong at a remote scientific research station on Mars. All research has ceased. Communication has failed. And the messages that do get through are less than comforting. It's a level 5 quarantine, and the only souls allowed in or out are the Rapid Response Tactical Squad - hardened Marines armed to the teeth with enough firepower to neutralize any enemy...or so they think. The research being done at Olduvai station has unwittingly opened a door, and all hell has broken loose. A legion of nightmarish creatures of unknown origin lurks behind every wall and stalks the countless rooms and tunnels of the facility, killing what few people remain. Sealing off the portal to Earth, Sarge, Reaper and their team must use every weapon at their disposal - and some they find along the way - to carry out their orders: nothing gets out alive.
I wonder when they will make a HALO flick.

Halo like Body Armour

The picture shows a concept uniform that boasts some impressive technology. The helmet is outfitted with 360 degree video feed. This is displayed onto the visor. All the services are voice activated. Real-time strategic maps can also be fed from headquarters. This would give soldiers real-time views of friendlies, enemies, terrain, buildings, etc. The wearer can also amplify certain atmospheric sounds while lowering others. Complete translation services are also housed in the audiological center. The body suit is as impressive as the helmet/visor. It houses thermal sensors that control and regulate body temperature. The soldier carries a respirator on his back that provides continuous fresh air, removing the need for a protective mask. If the helmet is off, or the visor is up, and the soldier encounters a harmful airborne agent, the body suit will detect it, release tiny capsules to counter it and inject treatment into the soldier’s body. From the waist down, the suit incorporates a technology called XO muscle. This allows a soldier to carry 2 to 3 times their body weight while only feeling their own. Future versions of the uniform may also include a liquid called shear thickening liquid. The liquid displays elastic, moveable qualities when moved in slow, normal rhythmic motions. But when sudden, extreme force is applied to the liquid it becomes extremely tense and unmoveable. This would allow frontal and back armor that is much stronger than Kevlar alone.

Covenant Snipers

Covenant Snipers are what their name says. They carry a Beam Rifle. Watch out for them in dark or elevated areas.

Halo 2 Brutes

Brutes are a new unit to Halo 2. They are strong and agile. They have been known to have a hatred towards elite, use this to your advantage.

Cobalt Master Chief

The Cobalt Master Chief is a worthy foe in any Halo multiplayer level. One of the most popular variant colors and armed to the teeth, the Cobalt Master Chief is an awesome instrument of destruction.

Halo 2 tough to hack

A Microsoft representative would not specify which additional security measures, if any, have been added to Xbox Live around the "Halo 2" launch. "Microsoft listens carefully to the Xbox Live community and reserves the right to take steps necessary to preserve the integrity of the user experience," the representative said in a statement. "Our goal is to provide our users with secure, consistent and fair online game play. Users are not permitted to manipulate the system to the detriment of others."

Multiplayer Halo 2

. The online aspect has been opened up to everyone, not just the hardcore players who used Xbox Connect to play Halo online. Unfortunately this also means that you get a bunch of little kids that should not be playing a Mature rated game. Those children are a virus that effects all online console games, Halo 2 isn't alone.
Bungie has done a great job in keeping things updated online. They frequently release patches and have released 9 new maps which are available for purchase now and will be free in August. The servers are relatively steady. Occasionally a game will have a bad host and everything will be laggy, but for the most part it isn't a problem.
The learning curve is pretty gentle at first. The ranking system is moderately effective in pitting players against opponents of comparable skill. Unfortunately the ranking system also means you have people who only care about ranking up and will do anything to do so, so there are plenty of people who don't respect the game or their fellow players.

"Halo 2" was it's graphics

First thing I noticed about "Halo 2" was it's graphics. Now, nothing much has changed in terms of design or looks, but the biggest improvement over the original "Halo" is cleanliness. After rapid playing periods of "Halo 2" the first thing I noticed was how much more clean the game looked. The visuals are easier to see and the game just looks better overall over the original "Halo." On top of all this the graphics of the game itself really kicks ass. The explosions look realistic, the blood splattering all over the bombed out walls of the buildings. It's just a great looking game, one of the best looking ones I've seen in a long time.
The cinematics of the game are also definetely improved, with lots of gunfire and explosions to fill the plate of all you action fans out there. Unlike the last game where I hit the A-Button to skip over the cinematic, I don't in this game because I'd hate to miss out on the eye-popping visuals.
